We Become What We Behold
Playing “We Become What We Behold” is like reading a social commentary while doing some puzzle sleuthing at the same time. You also get a bit of humor thrown into the mix as a bonus too. It’s not your typical game where you aim to achieve a high score or accomplish an objective. If anything, it is a lesson on paying closer attention to details.
The open source indie game is all shown in grayscale artwork (except for a few objects in red) set in a small field littered with “peeps” of all sorts. (‘Peeps’ are what creator Nicky Case calls the cute little characters featured in her games). All the player needs to do is to click on the things seen on their screen using a viewfinder. Whatever is captured becomes the image shown on the TV set in the middle of a field.
All we can tell you is the things that appear on TV are significant. We don’t want to spoil anything (hint: it gets “exciting” at some point), so just go ahead and play the game here.
